The Soulsavers return with the new album "It's Not How Far You Fall, It's The Way You Land".
This time round, Soulsavers have joined up with Mark Lanegan (ex Screaming Trees) who provides vocals on 8 of the albums 11 tracks.
Their influences range from Johnny Cash, Velvet Underground, Joy Division, Public Enemy, Nick Cave, Dylan, and The Stooges.
It's an eclectic recording, a unique mix of rock, country, soul & gospel. What makes this a good record is the vocals of Lanegan. I’m a fan of the Screaming Trees and Lanegan’s solo work. I have never heard him sound so good. Complementing the reverent, post-apocalyptic sonic environment, Lanegan sings as if he's standing at the door of deliverance, bottle in tow.
The album was recorded throughout 2005 & 2006, between the bands home base in the North of England, and Los Angeles.
The record was released in April '07 on V2 Records in Europe.

Thank you so much for the upload. It is an amazing record and Lanegan is a gem as always. The song Revival really caught my ear and listening constantly to it.
