The Numbers - The Numbers

Their first self-titled album came out in 1980 and included the brilliant single, 5 Letter Word and Teenage Wonderland. Brother and sister(Chris and Annalise Morrow) share the vocals. The Number were active between 1978 and 1984 and produced 3 albums of original post-punk sound that was not too far removed from some other more successful bands of the time. Touches of Blondie and Pretenders, very 80's guitar sounds and choruses. Great record. I'll post a later album in the future. Bass player Craig Bloxom went on to form ‘v spy v spy’
