Theres been a really good response to Acoustic Lounge, each post averaging around 30 downloads. So for the first post of the next 100 I give you this little gem. A good live recording with just Marc playing guitar doing all the hits he had with T Rex. This is one cool record.
Marc Bolan (born Mark Feld; 30 September 1947 - 16 September 1977), was an English singer, songwriter and guitarist whose hit singles, fashion sensibilities and stage presence with T.Rex in the early 1970s helped cultivate the glam rock era and made him one of the most recognisable stars in British music of the time.

OMG! I love this CD. The acoustic versions are absolutely fantastic. My fave songs on here are 'Girl' and 'Down Home Lady'. The little part in Debora where he "forgot the words" had me in stitches, listening to him laugh.

Cant comment on the cd as yet but from the other poster, it seems like a winner to me.....thank you for sharing this gem that all bolan fans should hear.....yeah...i know....havent heard it yet ha ha .....cheers.
